This is a bad news for MCU fans.

With so much hype and excitement for the next sequel of the successful Doctor Strange, today MCU fans are hit with a storm when director Scott Derricksons revealed to have dropped out from the project. Derrickson added that he however will still remain on board as an executive producer of the project.

Marvel issued the statement on the departure by saying “creative differences” as the main issue.

“Marve Studios and Scott Derrickson have amicably parted ways on “Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness” due to creative differences. We remain grateful to Scott for his contributions to the MCU.”

We kind of admit that this is quite a sudden development because the project is expected to begin its filming sometime early this year for a May 2021 release.

Marvel has yet to reveal who will be directing the sequel.
